It's snowing!!!

Hope you all had a great thanksgiving !!!

It's been snowing since yesterday ❄❄❄ 

When I woke up to see the snow laden roads, cars and trees, I wished I could laze out reading a book and have piping hot spicy pulao. But my little one's shrills brought me to reality and reminded me of my mommy duties. 

Nevertheless, I will treat myself with my favorite mushroom pulao today and try to carve out some time to continue with my current read - A memoir by Barack Obama. It is voluminous and I might take couple of months to finish it. Will definitely publish a detailed post on it!!!

Gearing up for First day of School

The day you first held your little one, the first time he smiled at you, those first steps, first tears, first words, first bike ride... You would have experienced countless firsts with your child so far. Before you knew it, your kid is just few days away from a very important milestone - his first day of school.  If your kid is starting kindergarten this academic year, I totally feel you. Brantford Twin Valley Zoo, Ontario

We are left with just few more weeks of summer and couple more beautiful places to explore, before we bid good bye to the season this year. Twin Valley Zoo at Brantford (Ontario, Canada) is one such place which was on our bucket list for this summer. At Canada, we cannot spot any other animal in our neighbourhood beyond pet dogs, cats and the ever active squirrels that freely roam wherever their heart takes them. If we are lucky, we may also get a chance to find few horses in their stables when we pass through the country side.  While I was in the US, I visited a pet zoo in our locality, which housed a cow, sheep, goat, hen, rooster, few chicken, duck and a goose, specifically to introduce them to kids; which was quite amusing. TEMU - Is it Legit or Scam???

TEMU is the latest buzzword, shaking up the North American ecommerce world!!!! How many of you have been constantly receiving ads, notifications in your emails and all of your social media platforms about TEMU? Until a few days ago, I haven't heard the word "TEMU". If someone talked to me about it, I would have brushed off the conversation thinking it is just another scam. When I received the first email, that was my immediate reaction and deleted it. But after few more notifications, I got curious and started digging about it, only to realize that it is an ecommerce app similar to Aliexpress, Wish, Shein etc. selling products at lower prices.  Since China is ruling the ecommerce market, I naturally thought TEMU should also be part of China's ecommerce ecosystem, and my guess was right.
